  11. I am trying to do a custom voice Mail application on a
  12. Unix system (thus external) and looking for
  13. a modem with a good API for telephony programming. Ideally
  14. I would like it to have line out jack so the sound can be
  15. sampled by the system's own digitizing hardware. I have 
  16. heard good reviews of ZyXEL modems, any other recommenations?
